Printing to a fine art paper is a transformation, where a soft structure appears and real paint has a different glow. I think it makes an image a lot more relaxing and interesting to view.
Print Sizes
All prices are written in Swedish crowns (SEK), but I can ship worldwide. I offer two sizes:
A3 – the medium size
- Paper Size: 42.0×29.7 cm
- Print Size: 24×36 cm
- Price: 1180 SEK
A2 – the large size
- Paper Size: 59.4×42.0 cm
- Print Size: 36×54 cm
- Price: 1340 SEK
This price is 1000 SEK higher than the cost to make a print, which goes directly to my future work as a nature and wildlife photographer.
Shipment
Additionally, the cost of shipment is:
- 200 SEK within Sweden.
- 300 SEK to Norway, Denmark and Finland.
- 500 SEK to the rest of the world.
This covers the price for FOTOverket posting to me, and me posting to you.
Frames
All prints are supplied unframed. Getting a passe-partout or wooden frame for the print is easy as this is a standard measurement. The outer measurement for A3 should be 40×50 cm, while the outer measurement for a A2 print should be 50×70 cm.
Within Sweden you can order directly from FOTOverket. I have used theese:

- A2 passe-partout 50×70/38×56 cm

Glass is included with the frames from FOTOverket. It is also possible to buy a more exclusive UV70-glass with less reflections and crystal clear colour transmission. It costs 360 SEK for A3, and 605 SEK for A2.
Print Quality
The prints I offer are made on fine art cotton paper, Hahnemühle Photo Rag, with a lightly defined felt structure, giving each artwork a three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth. It is a strong, acid and lignin-free classic paper that is age resistant and designed for fine art applications.
The prints are produced in cooperation with art and nature photographer Niklas Storm at FOTOverket. Every print is then reviewed and signed by me. There is no limited edition, as I want to keep down the price for each reproduction.

The available reproductions to choose from can be found below, where I explain my thoughts about them.
Currently I’ve just got one, as I’ve started, but there will be more in due time. I only sell reproductions that I am perfectly happy with and choose to put on my own wall at home. These are images that I have carefully controlled to fit the new medium of the paper, which is a fairly slow process to ascertain that contrast, white point, nuances, colour, etc. perfectly align to my own vision. As the experience of viewing a photograph on a lighting screen versus on a paper differ, it may require several tests.

Available prints
Ursa Minor – the Lesser Bear
The name of this picture is Ursa Minor, Latin for ”Lesser Bear”, the constellation of seven stars that was listed by the Alexandrian astronomer Ptolemy in the 2nd century.
This is a reproduction that I am incredibly happy with. When printed on the high-quality, durable and matte fine art paper the color, luster and composition become like a true painting, with a base tone of dark indigo blue. It is darker in the evening compared to what you see on the screen, as the paper does not shine, which calms me and gives space for reflection and imagination. The shadows, the lights and the shapes really come to life.
It is a dreamy composition that makes me think of tales and myths. It looks like a dark night with glowing stars, where the bear follows a trail across the sky. It reminds me of a magic forest with gnomes and fairies, as a painting of the Swedish artist John Bauer. I can think of an eight-legged cosmic being, the vedic legend of Purusha who is split to create the world, of ancient greek tales and of many other myths. So, for me, it is a multi-layered image.
I can also look at it and just wonder how the bear is doing, as if it was still there, and after all, it was there for a moment. This is a photograph of a real event, from a borderland where the bear, the forest, the cotton grass and the water mirror were just as the picture shows. Nothing is added, everything was there. The editing I have done is all about setting the white balance, light and contrast to create something darker where the shadows of the night and the forest surround the bear. It was just before midnight on the fifteenth of June 2024. I was there by the mirror of a forest lake in complete stillness, in Viiksimo in the Finnish taiga near the border to Russia, when the female bear walked peacefully along the water.
